San Marcos - Alive at 25 (IN-PERSON CLASS!)
“Alive at 25” is a survival course for all 15-24 year olds developed by the National Safety Council and offered by the Texas Alive Team. The course serves as an excellent complement to standard driver education programs — and is also ideal for young drivers who incur traffic violations. It is a 4 hour program, taught by law enforcement personnel, that focuses on the behaviors and decision-making patterns that young drivers and passengers display behind the wheel. It is designed to prevent the number one killer of teens, vehicle crashes. Students who have completed the class report that Alive at 25 is an engaging way to learn the important message: Driving while distracted, tired, impaired or under peer pressure is deadly.
The National Safety Council reports that students who complete the Alive at 25 course are significantly less likely to be killed in a car crash than youths that have not taken the course. Embrace the road ahead. Give your young driver the power to prevent a deadly mistake.
